Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (also called Oracle BI Publisher) is an advanced reporting solution that helps users in creating, managing and delivering documents or reports faster than traditional tools.

BI Publisher is a product within the Oracle BI Foundation and enables creation of highly formatted reports and documents.

Often companies have different issues in reporting. They have different ways of generating invoices, labels, government forms, high fidelity reports and many more. The most common issue faced is that data sources from different databases and applications and output is required in different formats with different delivery destinations as targets.

BI Publisher is a product within the Oracle BI Foundation and enables creation of highly formatted reports and documents. BI Publisher is not just a tool but a complete reporting solution. It makes reporting simpler, easier and faster than what most conventional reporting tools have to offer.

BI Publisher can be used as a standalone platform for various reporting and publishing needs. It can be used to publish everything that an organization requires to operate, such as: Invoices, Customer Statements, Purchase Orders, Item and Shipping Labels, Bank EFTs and Checks, Financial Statements, Government Forms, Salary Reports and also Interactive Reports (using BI Publisher Enterprise). It is capable of producing a wide range of Report Styles and Output Formats. It supports multiple layouts per report so you can format and display data in whatever ways suitable. Output can be rendered in various formats like HTML, PDF, MS Office formats (Word, Excel, and Power Point) and text formats among others.

This training provides detailed knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle BI Publisher, students will learn how to build sophisticated reports for publishing and enterprise-wide deployment.

Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (also called Oracle BI Publisher) is an advanced reporting solution that helps users in creating, managing and delivering documents or reports faster than traditional tools.

You can use web browser and desktop tools to design interactive documents and reports from multiple data sources. Users can also schedule their reports to be delivered to various destinations (fax, printer, email etc.) as per their business requirements. Oracle BI Publisher allows viewing reports over the net or scheduling and delivering thousands of reports per hour while putting little impact on transactional systems.

Develop, manage and distribute highly sophisticated reports & documents for IT staff, end users and developers through Oracle BI Publisher tool. This hands-on Oracle BI Publisher training course is structured to provide delegates with skills to author and create Oracle Business Publisher (BI) reporting applications (reports) and covers the different options available within the BI Publisher Enterprise reporting portal. You will learn how to create a BI Publisher Enterprise online reporting application from scratch and how to use BI Publisher to harness desktop tools such as Adobe Acrobat and MS Office. Gain the skills and experience to create and maintain their own reports via the BI Publisher architecture.
